Steigenberger Hotel Group opened the Steigenberger Aqua Magic in Egypt.

The Steigenberger Aqua Magic offers 707 rooms and suites, including 294 specially designed family suites with a separate children's bedroom. The rooms have a spacious layout and cheerful decorations. Individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV and Internet access are available in the rooms and suites.

Water plays a special role at the new Steigenberger Aqua Magic. The hotel has a certified Aqua Park, offering a host of attractions for visitors. These include giant water slides, a "lazy river" and a separate children's area with a range of play equipment. Also available are five swimming pools and a children's pool. The hotel also has its own private beach. The roof of the Steigenberger Aqua Magic is home to the Aqua Relax Swimming Pool, an exclusive place with a butler. Inside the hotel itself, a Spa World is on offer.  A steam bath, a sauna, beauty treatments and a gym area are similarly available.

Steigenberger Aqua Magic also has a nine-hole golf course with an electronic driving range, various games facilities such as boccia, table tennis and table football and a 1.5 mile jogging and walking trail.

Nine different restaurants and bars with sun terraces serve up a range of regional specialties and international dishes. Meanwhile, the Magic Sky Restaurant on the roof of the hotel provides dinners with panoramic views.

Other amenities include the "Souk," an Arabian/African style market with designer shops and an entertainment area; a Kids' Club; and a Teen Club for younger guests.
