Strategic Hotels & Resorts promotes to Richard Moreau to executive VP and COO

Strategic Hotels & Resorts has promoted Richard Moreau to executive vice president and chief operating officer.

He previously was executive vice president - asset management.

In his new position, Moreau is responsible for the company's asset management and operational activities, including all efforts to improve the cash flow and overall value of the company's 17 luxury hotels.

In a media release, Chief Executive Officer Laurence Geller commented on Moreau’s strong sense of professionalism in asset management and hotel operations.

"His contributions are vital to the strategic and financial success of our company, and we are proud to recognize his many accomplishments accordingly," Geller said.
