Studio Gang, Graven Images behind Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel design

The U.S. flagship of Carlson's Radisson Blu brand opened earlier this month in Chicago, and the company is showcasing the architecture and interiors. Studio Gang Architects designed the new-build Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago, and Graven Images did the contemporary interiors.

The exterior is designed to pay homage to Chicago's architectural history, featuring weathered steel, polished concrete and reclaimed brickwork.

The guestrooms are fashion-inspired and the lobby and public spaces feature oversized signature pieces, like brick columns and original metalwork.
