Styles&Wood completes Waldorf Astoria Ras Al-Khaimah refurbishment

Integrated property services and project delivery specialist Styles&Wood completed a $5.59-million refurbishment contract for Waldorf Astoria’s first property in the United Arab Emirates, the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al-Khaimah.

The 47,000-square-foot refurbishment of the five-star resort, spanning four floors of the 346-room hotel, included the fitting-out of the hotel’s restaurants, conference center, lobby, and reception area to a bespoke specification.

The hotel is located in one of the seven United Arab Emirates, Ras al-Khaimah and includes an 18-hole golf course and a nearly 400-yard stretch of private beach.

Inspired by the palaces of the Arabian Peninsula, Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah is located 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport. The setting of this destination is matched by its facilities, including dining and entertainment venues, conference and event facilities, spa experiences, an 18-hole championship golf course and a 1,100-foot private beach, both set against the Arabian Sea.

Ras Al Khaimah's attractions, accessible from this luxury resort hotel, include waterpark, sailing, shooting and flying venues, safaris and area sightseeing.
