
Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts has announced that it will be adding a new luxury hotel to its Chinese portfolio with the Swissôtel Chengdu in Sichuan province. With hotels already operating in Shanghai, Beijing, Foshan and Kunshan, Swissôtel Chengdu will be the fifth hotel in China for the international hotel chain of Swiss origin, and its first hotel in the west of the People’s Republic.
Swissôtel Chengdu will offer 380 rooms, each around 452 square feet in size, four restaurants and bars, and 10 conference rooms covering some 16,145 square feet. A Pürovel Spa & Sport, extending over 10,763 square feet, will also be available.
The hotel is due to open at the end of 2014.
