Thailand's Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin unveils refit

Centara Hotels and Resorts has announced the completion of an extensive renovation and upgrading program for Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin prior to the official adoption of the hotel’s new name at the beginning of 2012.

The renovated facilities include 100 rooms and suites in the Colonial Wing, the installation of a new Health Club, and also of a new Kids Club. The Railway Restaurant has also undergone renovation.

The upgrading has been undertaken as part of the rebranding operation for the hotel’s change of name from Sofitel Centara Grand Resort & Villas Hua Hin to Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin.

Centara Hotels and Resorts has 38 properties in Thailand. A further 16 resorts in the Maldives, Philippines, Vietnam, Bali Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Mauritius Indian Ocean bring the present total to 54 properties. Centara Hotels and Resorts also operates two convention centres in Bangkok and one in Udon Thani in northeastern Thailand.
