Traditional inspiration: Native & Co’s Inako collection

London-based Japanese and Taiwanese homeware store Native & Co launched its first furniture collection. Called Inako, the collection includes a bench, dining table and stool. The new pieces were all crafted from solid maple wood in the UK. Inspired by traditional Japanese furniture and joinery, Inako’s design is described as subtle and discreet, allowing for the natural beauty of the maple to be revealed.

Native & Co designs and curates Japanese and Taiwanese homeware from its Notting Hill store. It was founded by Taiwanese and British-Japanese product designers Sharon Jo-Yun Hung and Chris Yoshiro Green.
