Vegas' Fitzgeralds Casino Hotel to become the D Las Vegas

The Las Vegas landscape can change at the blink of an eye. The Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel is undergoing a transformation to become the D Las Vegas Casino Hotel, scheduled for completion in fall 2012. The new name comes with extensive renovations to the 638 rooms, two-level casino and entertainment venues. "It's absolutely terrific to be part of all the changes happening in downtown Las Vegas this year," said the D's owner, Derek Stevens. "The D will elevate the energy of Fremont Street."
