Versatile chairs: Coalesse’s CH88 and CH468 chairs

Coalesse announced its distribution of the CH88 and CH468 Oculus chairs designed by master carpenter and designer Hans J. Wegner. The chairs come from Carl Hansen & Son.

CH88 is a handcrafted side chair blending wood and steel materials and a minimalist design. The stackable design (stacks four high), numerous finish options, and choice of wood or upholstered seat make the chair versatile. The metal legs are available with black paint, chrome or a stainless steel finish

Meanwhile, the CH468 Oculus armchair is a fully upholstered lounge chair. The chair’s name refers to the “eye” formed by the curved back (oculus is Latin for eye). Its roomy back embraces the sitter, while the sloping armrests provide comfort for working or relaxing. The chair is designed to accommodate different postures while offering support for the head, neck and upper back.
