Versatile seat: Deck seating collection by De Padova

Introducing the Deck series by Luca Nichetto for De Padova, offering a versatile chair design available in a range of finishes and with a variety of different bases. The Deck seating collection is said to combine the strength of outdoor furnishings with the elegance of indoor seating. The design has a molded plastic frame (Hirek), legs in painted white or black metal and a back and seat in natural oak veneer for the indoor version, or plywood slats with teak veneer for the outdoor version. The Deck chairs are available with or without armrests and with a swivel or stackable four leg base.

Founded in the 1950s by Fernando and Maddalena De Padova, the Italian manufacturer’s portfolio of work includes domestic, office, hospitality and outdoor furniture. Over the years, it worked with various designers, including Vico Magistretti, Castiglioni and Dieter Rams.
