W Hotels to open property in Malaysia in 2017

Starwood Hotels & Resorts is scheduled to open W Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia in 2017.

When it opens, W Kuala Lumpur will have 150 guestrooms with views of the skyline.

The property – which will be located at the Malaysian capital’s Golden Triangle – will also have destination restaurants, bar and Living Room, FIT fitness center, spa and WET pool.

For gatherings, W Kuala Lumpur will have a total of 1,495 square meters (16,092 square feet) of event space that can host up to 150 people. There will be seven meeting rooms, with the largest measuring 800 square meters (8,611 square feet).
