White Lodging completes Residence Inn Merrillville renovation

White Lodging Services announced the completion of the renovation of the Residence Inn Merrillville. The hotel located at 8018 Delaware Place has undergone a complete revitalization of its 78 suites and public spaces, transforming it into an upscale hotel.

All guest suites at the Residence Inn Merrillville have been completely redesigned with the addition of new carpeting, flooring, bedding, lighting, wall vinyl, sleeper sofa, kitchen appliances, sinks, bathtubs and surrounds, granite countertops, vanities, mirrors and flat-screen televisions.

A transformation has also taken place in the hotel’s public areas, which has been appointed with new custom décor, carpeting, wall vinyl and furniture. The gatehouse has also been expanded to accommodate more guests. Similarly, the fitness center has been upgraded, and a new brick patio with fire pit has been added to the outdoor seating area.

The Residence Inn Merrillville is an all-suite property including one-bedroom and studio suites. Each suite includes a queen-size bed and sleeper sofa, iron and ironing board and full kitchen with stovetop, dishes, pans, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. Other hotel facilities and services include a daily complimentary full breakfast buffet, an indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, high-speed Internet access, and a social hour three nights a week.
