Wilson Associates names new CEO

Wilson Associates, a global interior architectural design firm, appointed Olivier Chavy to CEO, effective July 31.

Chavy brings to Wilson Associates an entrepreneurial spirit with significant experience in brand building and development in the luxury hospitality industry. His passion and vision is underscored by his track record of managing luxury brands that has been established over a 25-year career.

Chavy previously served as international head for global brand performance of Luxury & Lifestyle Brands for Hilton Worldwide, where he led brand performance teams for nearly 50 Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels worldwide (and 25 more under construction). In this role, he was responsible for leading all pre-opening processes, including interior design positioning, room mock up and public spaces review, product positioning, pre-opening budget and marketing activities for new properties, and global luxury brands performance for opened and trading properties. Prior to this role, he was SVP for Hilton Grand Vacations Resort, and area VP for hotel operations of Hilton hotels. 

Specializing in interior architectural design, Wilson Associates was founded in 1971 and today employs 350 professionals across seven international offices: Dallas (headquarters), New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Shanghai and an associate office in Kochi, India. The company established some of the world’s most well-known addresses, creating interiors for hotels, resorts, restaurants, casinos and high-end residential properties, offering a range of design services.
