Wyndham Hotel Melbourne opened

Wyndham Hotel Melbourne opened, located in Melbourne’s central business district (CBD) on the corner of William Street and Little Bourke Street.  The high-rise complex has 531 apartments across two towers and comprises hotel accommodation, vacation ownership, residential apartments and a retail precinct.

The hotel offers a gym, a library, a business center and meeting space, ground floor retail and dining precinct and a rooftop pool with a barbecue area and city skyline views. The building also incorporates several environmental efforts such as rooftop solar panels, rainwater reuse in bathrooms and double-glazed doors and windows to reduce noise and increase energy efficiency.

Wyndham Hotel Group, part of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, is one of the world’s largest hotel companies with approximately 7,590 hotels and 655,300 rooms in 71 countries under the hotel brands: Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Ramada, Days Inn, Super 8, Wingate by Wyndham, Baymont Inn & Suites, Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham, Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, TRYP by Wyndham, Howard Johnson, Travelodge and Knights Inn.  In addition, the company has a license agreement to franchise the Planet Hollywood Hotels brand and provide management services globally.
