Wyndham signs a Grand for Bangalore

Wyndham has signed a franchise agreement for Wyndham Grand Bangalore Yelahanka, which is set to open in 2020, marking an upscale brand extension in the city of Bangalore.

This 180-room property is part of the group’s expansion plan in India to develop nearly 70 hotels and increase the inventory to 8,000 rooms within the next five years. Currently Wyndham Hotel Group has 17 operational properties in India with a total room inventory of 1,800 under the Ramada, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Dream and Days Inn brands.

The Wyndham Grand Bangalore Yelahanka will form a key component in Sammy’s Grand Palace, the latest 75-acre exclusive residential project in Bangalore. The project is being developed by Bangalore-based Sammy’s Dreamland.

As the only hotel development within the complex, the property is set away from the bustling city, while only 10 minutes’ drive from Bangalore International Airport. Nestled within a five-acre landscaped garden featuring a man-made lagoon, the hotel will feature 180 guest rooms including 30 suites, four restaurants, and a range of amenities including an outdoor pool and spa. The property will additionally include two conference and banquet halls catering to large-scale social engagements and business events.

The Wyndham Grand collection of hotels is an ensemble of hotels and resorts in resort and urban destinations.
