Al Khoory Group plans mid-market Dubai hotels

The Al Khoory Group's hospitality division is planning to develop three mid-market hotels in Dubai as part of new expansion plans.

According to Hotelier Middle East, the Group is look 1,100 rooms in Dubai by the end of 2019. New openings will include the 99-room Al Khoory Central Hotel and the 159-room Al Khoory Courtyard hotel, both scheduled to open in 2019.

Both properties, Al Khoory Hotels group general manager Pierre Sokhon told the site, will be close to the "business bay" area, where there are currently no mid-market hotels.

“At the same time Al Khoory Group bought new land on the airport road in Dubai, where it will open another three-star hotel,” Sokhon added.

Al Khoory Hotels' international expansion plans include three upcoming mid-market properties in Oman, one of which is to be located in Muscat.
