Dream Hotels to make Middle East debut in Qatar

Qatar's Al Alfia Holding has signed an agreement with Dream Hotel Group to develop the first Dream Hotel in the Middle East. The 325-room Dream Doha, currently set to open in Qatar in 2019, is expected to cost approximately $300 million and will be designed by Meyer Davis.

The Dream Hotel Group currently operates Dream Hotels, Time Hotels, The Chatwal and Unscripted Hotels.

The Middle East debut for the brand is part of a $1.5-billion development plan that will include expansions across the U.S., including Nashville; Dallas; Palm Springs, Calif.; and Long Island, New York; as well as two new properties in New York City’s Times Square.
