Four Seasons Hotel Montreal eyes June 1 opening

The all-new Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is slated to open in Quebec, Canada, on June 1.

The development of Four Seasons Hotel Montreal included Lemay and Sid Lee Architecture, both of Montreal (architects); Paris-based Gilles & Boissier (hotel interiors); and Montreal firm Atelier Zébulon Perron (for the restaurant and lounge).

An exclusive community of 18 Four Seasons Private Residences is located in the same building, with interiors by Montreal-based architect and designer Philip Hazan.

Located downtown in the city’s Golden Mile Square, connected to Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, the property will have 169 rooms.

Marcus will be the first Canadian restaurant by chef and restaurateur Marcus Samuelsson.  Flowing in and around the hotel’s reception and lobby will be a series of indoor and outdoor spaces conceived by Atelier Zébulon Perron.

The hotel will also have a spa and fitness center, a skylit indoor pool and a fifth floor ballroom with outdoor terrace.

Gonçalo Monteiro is the GM of the property.
