Four Seasons plans second Baja California resort

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Los Angeles-based Oakmont Corp. are planning to develop the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol.

Situated on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, the new-build resort is slated to open in 2022. The property will take up more than 50 acres within Cabo Del Sol’s new private beachfront community, The Cove Club.

The property, the company's second on the Baja Peninsula, will have 80 rooms and 40 Private Residences as well as several restaurants, a kids club, a spa, a fitness center and a private beach club.

The Cove Club, meanwhile, offers dining options; swimmable beaches; beachside fitness events; a resort-style pool and private cabanas; a private golf club; and La Montaña, a mountain adventure park. Other planned amenities include an organic farm and garden offering sea- and farm-to-table dining; a family park; as well as an outdoor adventure program.

Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo are both close to Cabo Del Sol.
