Hyatt to bring Andaz brand to Dubai

An affiliate of Hyatt Hotels Corp. has entered into a management agreement with Dubai-based real estate development and management company Wasl Asset Management Group for the development of an Andaz hotel on the Palm Jumeirah.

Andaz Dubai The Palm is slated to open in fourth quarter, a first for the city, and the second Andaz in the United Arab Emirates. It will join the Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi.

The hotel will include twin 15-story towers with 217 guestrooms and 116 serviced apartments. Public spaces will include four restaurants as well as a fitness center, a spa and meeting facilities.

A second property also is under development at the urban beachside destination La Mer. Hyatt Centric La Mer Dubai will mark the first property under the brand in the UAE and is set to open in 2020.

The hotel will be close to the Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall, Marina Mall, Jumeirah Beach and Dubai Marina.
