Litt Group aligns with KM Development Works

The Litt Group and KM Development Works have aligned to form LittKM Group. The team, focused on capital project administration and consulting for the hospitality industry, has already finished its first project: the renovation of the Courtyard by Marriott Secaucus (N.J.) Meadowlands for Secaucus Hotel Partners.

LittKM Group works with hotel ownership groups, providing its perspective on owning, operating, renovating and developing hotels. It specializes in negotiating product improvement plans with brands, third-party report analysis, freight and warehousing logistics and negotiations with general contractors.

“The team at KM Development Works cultivates relationships with individuals in our industry and is strategy-driven with a keen understanding of operations and how to help owners determine which items adds true value to an asset,” Jay Litt, principal of The Litt Group, said in a statement. “Our strategic alliance will allow us to enhance our offerings to clients and help them improve their [return on investment].”

KM Development Works, a hospitality project management company, has managed more than a billion dollars of real estate development and capital renovation. In business for decades, the company has owned, operated, developed and renovated hotels. It has long-standing professional relationships with architecture firms, interior designers, general contractors and logistics and purchasing companies.

The improvements at the Secaucus Courtyard touched all public and guest spaces and included millwork, vinyl, window treatments and smart TVs for small and midsize meetings. Guestrooms received new vinyl, carpet, casegoods, softgoods, bedding, draperies, lighting and radio frequency ID locks. In the bathrooms, new vanities, flooring, lighting and mirrors were installed.
