New Comfort Suites opens in DuBois, Pa.

The DuBois Country Club in DuBois, Pa., is welcoming a new Comfort Suites.

The hotel is owned by DuBois Resorts, and will be operated by Shaner Hotels of State College. The 65-suite hotel is adjoined to the recently-rebuilt DuBois Country Club, and day-pass memberships to the hotel's fitness and swimming pool will be available to local residences. 

The hotel also has a 50-seat meeting room, and the country club has a 650-person ballroom for events. The banquet facilities, as well as the club's Tannery on the Green Restaurant, will also be operated through an agreement with Shaner Hotels.

“We’re very excited about the opening of this hotel,” Dr. Joe Valigorsky, the principal partner of DuBois Resorts, said in a statement. “The new Comfort Suites will complement our recently rebuilt DuBois Country Club with meeting and event space to cater to businesspeople and tourists visiting Clearfield County.”
