The Naples Hotel Group, a development and management company, acquired the contract for a new Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown Miami.
Naples will develop and manage the hotel, and as part of the contract the company will oversee the overall construction and then manage the hotel's opening and operations. This is the third hotel project between Naples Hotel Group and the owners Hotelex Group.
The property will be located in Brickell on Southwest 2nd Avenue. Brickell is an urban neighborhood known as one of the largest financial districts in the U.S.
The Residence Inn will have 206 suites and on-site parking. Amenities will include an expanded lobby with a full-service bar, an outdoor pool and a fitness area.
Construction on the property is expected to begin Q1 2017.
