NH Hotel Group is investing in the renovation of its properties, in line with the company’s five-year business plan that started in 2014. In this plan, the Netherlands and Amsterdam in particular have been defined as one of NH Hotel Group’s "key destinations."
Following refurbishments, NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, NH Collection Doelen and NH Collection Barbizon Palace have been inaugurated as flagship hotels for the company.
Apart from the three NH Collection Hotels, NH Hotel Group is also investing in other Amsterdam properties. The NH City Centre Amsterdam and NH Schiphol Airport have also been refurbished, and construction on the nhow Amsterdam RAI will begin over the summer. When the hotel opens, it is expected to be the largest hotel of the Benelux region with 650 rooms.
