Continuing its growth across the U.K., Indian hospitality company Oyo Hotels & Homes has taken over management of the Sheffield Metropolitan Hotel, which is now the company's largest property in Great Britain.
“We are delighted to be working with Oyo as an early adopter of the brand in the U.K.,” said Koolesh Shah, founder/managing director of asset owner London Town Group. “The company's growth is fueled by its success in China with presence in 337 cities with over 500,000 rooms and we are pleased to offer Oyo this opportunity in the U.K.. We feel our Sheffield Metropolitan hotel is a perfect fit for the brand.”
The 112-room hotel is in the Sheffield city center, close to Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, the Millennium Gallery, Sheffield Town Hall, Peace Gardens and the Arts Tower.
