Radisson Hotel Group has signed a new property in Phuket, Thailand, in partnership with Thai-Chinese Property Holdings, a joint venture between APlan Properties and Chinese partners.

Scheduled to open in Q1 2023, the 222-room Radisson Phuket Mai Khao Beach will be located on the island’s northwest shore, with direct access to the beach and is a 15-minute drive from Phuket International Airport.

Several ground-floor rooms will offer direct access to the property’s outdoor pool, and more than 20 of the rooms and suites will have private pools. Public space will include several dining options, a kids' club, a lobby lounge, a business center and two meeting rooms.

Under a sale and leaseback arrangement, investors will be able to purchase units, which will be put into a mandatory rental program.

Radisson Hotel Group will manage the property.

"Phuket is the perfect fit for our upscale Radisson brand," said Katerina Giannouka, president, Asia-Pacific, at Radisson Hotel Group. "The signing of this new property reflects our confidence in Thailand’s tourism industry...We look forward to working with Thai-Chinese Property Holdings as we bring this exciting project to life.”
