Radisson plans flagship-brand debut for Russia

Radisson Hotel Group has signed a deal with Russia-based developer Prospect Group to open the first Radisson hotel in Russia in late-2021.

To be located in the Urals region, the new-build Radisson Hotel Perm Yekaterinburg will be one of the first upscale international hotels in the city. The signing brings the group’s Russian portfolio to 39 hotels and 10,320 rooms open or under development.

The hotel will be part of a multi-purpose development that will include shops, movie theaters and restaurants. Beyond its 150 guestrooms, the hotel will have a gym, a swimming pool on the top floor and an all-day restaurant on the 21st floor. Event space will be available, and a nearby convention center will have a capacity of more than 1,000 persons.

The city-center hotel will be within walking distance of government buildings and the Perm Opera and Ballet House. The property is 19 kilometers away from Perm International Airport, which last year reached 1.2 million passengers.
