Wanda to open Philippe Starck-designed Istanbul hotel in 2018

The property will have 150 guestrooms and suites with modern and local elements.

Chinese hotel management company Wanda Hotels & Resorts is scheduled to open Wanda Vista Istanbul by the end of 2018. The project is funded by Mar Yapi and designed by Philippe Starck.

Located in a business district near the biggest shopping district in Istanbul and Ataturk International Airport, the property will have 150 guestrooms and suites with modern and local elements.

By the end of 2016, the number of luxury hotels owned and operated by Wanda Hotels & Resorts reached 104 in China. China's largest luxury hotel company also re-launched its own brands, including the Wanda Reign, Wanda Vista, Wanda Realm and Wanda Jin. Today, Wanda Hotels & Resorts has six international projects, including in the Gold Coast, Sydney, Chicago, Los Angeles and London. These international hotels are under the same brand, Wanda Vista. Wanda Hotels & Resorts was founded in 2012.
