DoubleTree by Hilton Hangzhou East launched in China

DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Hangzhou East. The upscale 20-story, 308-room hotel is located in the business district of Xiasha Economic & Technological Development Zone in Hangzhou. The hotel is owned by Hangzhou Vangoo Investment Co., Ltd and operated by Hilton Worldwide.

The opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Hangzhou East marks the 16th DoubleTree by Hilton hotel to open in China. Located 26 kilometers from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport and 20 kilometers from Wulin Square and the West Lake Scenic Area, the hotel is a direct link to the Hangzhou Metro, thereby accessible to Hangzhou's business center as well as Xiasha University City, and the area's shopping and dining venues.

The property has three themed restaurants. He Yuan offers elegant dining experience with Cantonese and Zhejiang cuisine; E Café offers the Wake-up DoubleTree Breakfast buffet, Asian cuisine, Western grilled specialties, and fresh seafood; Suigestu offers Japanese specialties; and the Lobby Lounge offers a selection of tea and light bites.

As the capital city of Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou is not only enjoying rapid economic development, but also establishing itself as one of the top tourist destinations in China.

This year marks Hilton Worldwide's 25th anniversary in China.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hangzhou East also offers flexible meeting and event space, including a ballroom as well as eight multi-functional rooms, a VIP reception room and a boardroom. A 24-hour business center is similarly available. Guests will also enjoy DoubleTree by Hilton brand exclusives, including in-room tea and coffee offerings, and CITRON body care products by Crabtree & Evelyn. Each guest room and suite is equipped with a series of modern facilities and supplies, including work areas, Internet access, a 42-inch LCD TV, and the signature Doubletree by Hilton SweetDreams bed.
