Liberty SBF provides $7MM CMBS financing for Chicago-area HGI

According to RE Journals, Liberty SBF recently provided a $7-million CMBS loan for an hotel sponsor to acquire a Hilton Garden Inn hotel near Chicago. Liberty SBF, which specializes in CMBS lending, worked directly with the sponsor to capitalize on an opportunity with a short window and closed in under two months.

“Liberty SBF understands the hospitality business and when we needed to close on a property quickly, they guided us all the way through the process to meet our deadline,” said Robert Moran, managing firector at Hotel Capital. “Liberty SBF’s staff are proficient and knowledgeable about commercial real estate financing particularly hotel finance."
