Honolulu hotel upgrades F&B programming

In Honolulu, the Prince Waikiki hotel has launched new culinary programming at the hotel’s flagship restaurant, 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar, and the poolside Hinana Bar.

100 Sails Restaurant & Bar has reinvented its buffet to ensure employee and guest safety while incorporating interactive dining elements. Executive Chef Joseph Almoguera and his team rethought their approach to create the restaurant’s new “Indulge: A Signature Grazing Experience,” which includes unlimited tableside service from a signature menu with a number of “action stations” that let guests safely interact with the chefs as they prepare hand rolls and desserts behind glass partitions. Menu highlights include steamed crab legs with clarified butter or garlic calamansi butter; poke with fresh auction fish, local vegetables, chili peppers, and house-made rice crackers; cut-to-order porchetta, a crispy pork belly with calamansi-garlic sauce; and bread pudding served with crème anglaise.

Prince Waikiki also is introducing new culinary offerings and live entertainment across the property:

  •  A la carte lunch specials are now available daily at 100 Sails. Daily Happy Hour offers $2 off draft beers, wine by the glass and a signature cocktail of the month. From Sunday through Wednesday, 100 Sails will have live music during dinner service featuring local musicians.
  • This year, children 5 years old and younger eat for free at 100 Sails, and children 6-12 receive 50 percent off when dining with a paying adult, applicable for registered guests of the hotel. Additionally, Prince Waikiki offers complimentary self-parking for all restaurant guests.
  • The poolside Hinana Bar has introduced a new menu of casual fare and small bites alongside a new cocktail list, and will feature live music on Thursdays through Sundays.
