O'Kelly + Kasprak designs executive lounge of Hilton in Chicago

Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center opened its new executive lounge. The opening of the private retreat located near the lobby is part of the property-wide renovation occurring at the resort.

Intended to exude the feel of a private residence, the spacious executive lounge at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center was designed by the architectural firm of O'Kelly + Kasprak. The design was inspired by the golden age of mid-20th-century leisure, and the space now has statement pieces mixed with modern clean lines.

The executive lounge also has details that embrace the property's past, when the 150-acre sanctuary the hotel is located on was a polo field. There are historic artwork, stones and brass highlights that blend with the teak, sculptural furniture.
