TownePlace Suites rolls out grilling program

Extended-stay hotel brand TownePlace Suites by Marriott has rolled out new high-end Weber stainless steel Summit gas grills at more than 100 hotels across the U.S. and Canada.

Barbeque enthusiasts staying at TownePlace Suites hotels can beef up their stay with unlimited access to new premium grills, tools, spices and seasoning in the outdoor patio area. Inventive recipes inspired by TownePlace Suites’ In a Pinch market and created by Weber Grill Master Kevin Kolman can be downloaded from TownePlaceSuites.com. Available recipes include All-American Steakburgers, corn on the cob with basil-parmesan butter, and more. All guests need to do is B.Y.O.M. (bring your own meat).

“Many of our guests are business travelers, and we’re always looking for that personal touch and clever detail to help them relax and feel at home, whether they’re staying with us for one day, one week or one month,” said Loren Nalewanski, vice president & global brand manager of TownePlace Suites. “We know that backyard barbequing is a favorite culinary pastime across the country, and couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with Weber to bring the grilling experience to our guests. Let’s all raise a spatula to grillin’ on the road!”

To get travelers into a BBQ state-of-mind, guests staying at a TownePlace Suites will find fun, grill-inspired surprises throughout the hotel lobby and common areas, as well as in each studio, and one- and two-bedroom suite’s fully equipped kitchens. Hotel associates will undergo the Weber inspired grilling certification program on proper grill operation and cooking skills so they can provide pro tips and tricks to the guests.

“TownePlace Suites provides a home on the road for millions of people every year,” says Melissa Enos, vice president, Americas marketing, Weber-Stephen Products LLC.  “This partnership allows Weber to be a part of expanding that ‘home on the road’ experience to include outdoor grilling in the ‘back yard.’”
