Four Points hotel proposed for Oak Creek development in Milwaukee

A 108-room Four Points by Sheraton is being proposed for Oak Creek's Drexel Town Square development in Milwaukee, Wis., the Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel reports. Chicago-based Salita Development plans to begin construction on the four-story hotel this spring, pending city approval.

The hotel is expected to open in September 2015, Eric Nordness, Salita's managing partner, told the Journal Sentinel. It would include 2,000 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, swimming pool and a restaurant and bar.

Nordness said the Oak Creek hotel's location within Drexel Town Square makes it similar to Salita Development's 161-room Sheraton Chicago Northbrook Hotel, which is part of a mixed-use development in Northbrook, Ill.

The hotel would be on the public square planned for the middle of the 85-acre project site,

The hotel would have an assessed value of $6 million.
