Swiss International Hotels strengthens Taiwan business

Swiss International Hotels (China) Group announced it has signed a franchise agreement with YOKO International Corporation of Taipei to develop their business in the Taiwan region. The agreement is part of the companies' shared strategy to build a solid presence in the Taiwan hospitality market that is strategically located across the straits from Fujian Province in the south of China.

Swiss International Hotels (China) Group presently owns and operates two hotels in Xiamen and Nanchang with further locations under development in Shanghai, Beijing, Guiyang, Kunming, Hangzhou and Wuyishan.

YOKO International Corporation is a public listed company in Taiwan and is active in various businesses, such as high tech products, surveillance facilities, commercial hotels and overseas E-commerce, and plans to operate three to five new hotels across Taiwan within the next five years, the first property being a 270 room hotel in the high-tech development zone of Hsinchu, west of Taipei, that is scheduled to open in 2017.

Swiss International Hotels (China) Group associated with Swiss International Hotels & Resorts that is headquartered in Gland, Switzerland and operates hotels in Switzerland, Italy, BENELUX, Middle East and Africa. It has an International Service Centre in Ras Al Khaima, UAE. Swiss International Hotels (CHINA) is presently operating the 588-room Xiamen property and 470-room Nanchang property under the Swiss International Hotel brand with various new projects in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guiyang, Kunming and Wuyishan under development.

Yoko International Corporation is a public listed company which was established in 1992 in Xinbei City, with its core business being research & development of digital video monitoring equipment. The company established itself as the famous manufacturer of professional monitoring cameras. Yoko International Corporation developed a new team in June 2015 to diversify its activities into real estate, hotels & shopping mall management and e-commerce with building up two new branches on commercial hotel and merchandising service.
