Ann Christenson joins Aimbridge Hospitality as new SVP of human resources

Independent hotel investment and management firm Aimbridge Hospitality has named Ann Christenson as its newest SVP of human resources. As SVP of human resources at Aimbridge, Christenson will help oversee the organization’s human resources operations, from leadership development to recruitment and staffing. She will also assist in organizational growth strategies.

Christenson comes to Aimbridge from Moorhead, MN, bringing more than 20 years of human resources experience. Before joining Aimbridge Hospitality, she was the chief people & culture officer for TMI Hospitality where she oversaw all HR processes and internal communications.

Before that, she was the EVP of human resources and support services for Sanford Health, an integrated health system based in the Dakotas with more than 28,000 employees. In that position, she oversaw HR and support services ranging from food service and environmental service, to construction, biomed, facilities, laundry, safety, security and emergency management.

Christenson is a Moorhead Chamber of Commerce Board member and has a Bachelor's degree from Concordia College and a Master's degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead. 

Based in Dallas, Texas and with offices in Chicago and Puerto Rico, Aimbridge Hospitality currently owns and/or manages approximately 700 independent and branded hotels with more than 85,000 guestrooms across the U.S. and the Caribbean.
