Hospitality Management named Linsey Kennedy as the GM of the Best Western Plus Norman, which is expected to open in the fall of 2016 in Norman, Okla. Kennedy has over seven years of experience at Best Western Plus Cimarron Hotel & Suites. Kennedy started as a guest services representative in 2009 and has held almost every position within the hotel with five years of experience as the General Manager.
"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Steve Martens, Bill DeWitt and the entire Hospitality Management team on this luxurious new hotel," Kennedy said "I look forward to providing outstanding leadership and developing my new team members, and fully expect our hotel will become the new Norman favorite for our future local and out of town guests."
The 116-room Best Western Plus Norman is adjacent to the Norman Regional HealthPlex in Norman, Okla. Developed and operated by Wichita, Kan.-based Hospitality Management, A Martens Company, the hotel includes 109 traditional hotel rooms and seven extended-stay suites. The $13-million project is scheduled to open in fall 2016 and will employ 25 to 30 people.
