The Gettys Group appoints Jerry Zeitner to COO

Holiday Inn Express Smyrna, Ga.

The Gettys Group, a global hospitality firm specializing in interior design, consulting, branding and procurement, promoted principal Jerry Zeitner to the position of COO. The promotion comes as Zeitner celebrates his 20-year anniversary with the firm. 

“I am grateful for the opportunity and energized to help lead our company into the future,” Zeitner said in a statement. “The COO position will provide the platform to find and shape today’s and tomorrow’s leaders, working with our teams to find innovative approaches to projects, growing our company culture and, of course, having fun. Zeitner began his tenure with The Gettys Group as a project manager on a renovation of a Holiday Inn Express in Smyrna, Ga. He later was instrumental in the launch of Gettys ONE, a design group specializing in select-service hotels. He will continue to lead this group along with The Gettys Group’s consulting and procurement teams, in addition to his new role.
