Hilton hires new SVP, global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand

Hilton appointed Vera Manoukian as SVP and global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, effective June 11, 2018. 

Manoukian will oversee Hilton Hotels & Resorts' portfolio while promoting and growing the brand. She will be based at Hilton’s global headquarters in McLean, Va. and report to Dave Marr, SVP and global head of full service brands.

Manoukian has more than 30 years of hospitality experience. She most recently served as president and COO at Denihan Hospitality. There, Manoukian led branding, sales, marketing and operations, and managed the company’s growth and development pipeline.

She previously served as SVP of operations for Starwood. In this role, Manoukian was responsible for their largest geographic region, seven brands, 68 full service and luxury properties and $3.4 billion in revenue.

Manoukian holds an MBA from the University of Southern New Hampshire, specializing in marketing, along with a bachelor of science degree from Rivier University of New Hampshire.
