“I am proud to welcome Foster to the business-development team,” Reardon said in a statement. “His commitment in gaining extensive operations experience early on in his career will benefit him in his new capacity and further as he continues his progression within the firm. His understanding of our owner’s needs allows him to easily guide them through the details of the development or transactional phase of their hotels. We’re excited to see his continued growth in this new role.”

White originally joined Hotel Equities in 2012 as an intern while studying at Clemson University. After graduating with his degree in financial management, White completed Hotel Equities' manager-in-training program.

During the MIT program, White gained hands-on experience working in all areas of hotel operations, including transitions and new hotel openings. He also had the opportunity to engage with senior leadership at the corporate level, where he gained valuable insight into operating a multibranded portfolio of hotels. After completing the program, White joined the opening team as front-office manager at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Dunwoody, Ga., and most recently served as the opening assistant GM at the Residence Inn by Marriott-Atlanta-Perimeter Center/Dunwoody, Ga.

“The time I spent in hotel operations was invaluable,” White said in a statement. “It gave me the experience I needed to best serve our owners in my new role as part of the business development team.”

“When I was approached by Fred Cerrone [Hotel Equities' founder and chairman] years ago to create training curriculum, he shared with me his own story of being selected for Sheraton’s training program in his 20’s. The experience was life-changing for him, and resulted in an acquired passion for developing others," Nancy Curtin Morris, VP of learning and people development at Hotel Equities, said in a statement. "It was his vision to incorporate people development into Hotel Equities’ business model.”

White is originally from Greenville, S.C. He and his wife currently reside in Atlanta.
