HVS announces director of design appointment

HVS Design, an interior design firm specializing in the hospitality industry, announced that Christine M. Shanahan joined the firm as director of design.

Shanahan brings with her more than 20 years of professional design experience to HVS Design.  As director of design, she will oversee and manage the staff of designers, as well as be hands on with creating designs for the firms’ various hospitality projects. Shanahan will be based out of the company’s Rockville, Maryland office, just outside of Washington, DC.

Prior to joining HVS Design, Shanahan served as project director for J/Brice International, as well as ran her own full-service interior design firm, Studio East Design.  In addition to hospitality, Shanahan has extensive experience with commercial, industrial, health care, assisted living and residential projects.
