Kathryn Poulin was appointed to lead the Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island, Ga., as the hotel’s new GM. Poulin most recently was the GM of the Hampton Inn in Danville, Ky.
Poulin has had an established career with Hilton at both the corporate and property level, having worked as a quality-assurance auditor, 5-Advice manager and regional revenue manager. She also was the assistant GM of a Hampton Inn in Frederick, M.D., and an Embassy Suites in Washington, DC.
“This Hampton Inn has been a market leader since its opening and maintaining that leadership position as Jekyll Island continues to emerge as a revitalized tourist destination, will require the hands-on experience and brand knowledge that Kathy brings to the table,” said Gerry Chase, president and COO of New Castle Hotels & Resorts. “I am very confident of this hotel’s future with a GM of Kathy’s caliber at the helm.”
