Ben Olin, a hospitality executive with more than 12 years of progressive industry leadership experience, has been named GM of Le Méridien Dallas, The Stoneleigh.
“Ben is a dynamic leader with deep experience in mentoring and coaching,” Ren Hirose, regional VP of HEI Hotels and Resorts, said in a statement. “In addition to personally mastering the many operational aspects one must know to provide the kind of ultimate luxury experience guests expect from us, he is also gifted in teaching those skills to others and leading a team that is committed to exceeding even the highest expectations.”
Olin comes to The Stoneleigh from his position as regional director of operations and corporate director of guest experience for HEI Hotels and Resorts, a hospitality investment firm and management company, where he supported the operational efficiency of 14 unique hotels and pioneered the guest experience excellence platform. Olin has held additional leadership positions, including director of operations for HEI Hotels and Resorts at the Seattle Marriott Bellevue and director of guest services for The Westin Seattle Hotel, a Starwood Hotels property. Throughout his training, he has held positions in management of catering, food & beverage and the rooms division.
A native of Seattle, Olin is a graduate of Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality business management.
Olin and his wife, Amanda, are the proud parents to two boys, Cooper, Maddox, and a bulldog named Junior.
