LW Hospitality Advisors appoints Eric B. Hansen as director

Daniel H. Lesser, president & CEO and Evan Weiss, COO and principal of LW Hospitality Advisors, announced the appointment of Eric B. Hansen as director of the firm. Hansen, who lives in the Cleveland/Akron, Ohio, area, has 25 years of experience providing an array of hospitality real estate advisory services including: expert testimony, site evaluation, highest and best use analysis, market and feasibility studies and appraisals.

“Eric’s combined valuation and architectural experience are unique, and his capabilities in lodging real estate are wide and deep, which further enhance LWHA’s senior ranks,” Lesser said in a statement.

“LWHA recently marked its seventh-year anniversary, and during the near term we anticipate additional growth with new service offerings, and expansion of our geographic footprint,” Weiss said in a statement.

Most recently, Hansen served as president of Distinct Valuation and Consulting Group. Hansen has development, consulting and transaction advisory experience working with firms that include: Hotel & Leisure Advisors, Cole + Russell Architects and Corporex Companies. In the past, Hansen also served as an officer and past president of the Ohio Travel Association.

Hansen earned a bachelor of architecture at the University of Cincinnati and received a certification in financial management of hotels through the executive education program at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. Hansen is a member of the Appraisal Institute, a licensed architect with membership in the American Institute of Architects, and a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants.
