Mumford Co. hires sales analyst

Hotel real estate brokerage firm Mumford Co. hired Daniel Donovan as a sales analyst in its Newport News, Va., office. Upon receiving his real estate license, Donovan will assist in the development of property marketing, valuation analysis, market research and other corporate activities.

Donovan recently graduated from Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson College of Business School of Hotel Administration, where he received a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration with a focus in real estate finance. He gained real estate experience as an intern with residential developer Rockwell Development Group and real estate consulting firm Weitzman Associates.

Mumford Co. has accomplished more than 1,074 transactions in its 41-year history. It has sales teams in five regional offices across the United States. It focuses on the sale of midmarket and economy hotels.
