Omni Hotels & Resorts adds two new executives to its leadership team

Omni Hotels & Resorts appointed Matthew Adams as EVP of operations and Andrew Rubinacci as SVP of revenue management and global distribution. Effective immediately, Adams will lead operations for the Omni portfolio of 60 distinct luxury hotels and resorts across the country. Rubinacci will lead the brand’s revenue and distribution strategies.

“We have found two exceptional leaders who bring an impressive blend of industry knowledge, experience and enthusiasm that will drive our business as we enter a period of expansion, growth and evolution,” Peter Strebel, president of Omni Hotels & Resorts, said in a statement. “Both new executives demonstrate a shared belief in our vision and core values.”

Before joining Omni, Adams served a career-long tenure at Hyatt Hotels where he climbed the ranks of operational roles from post-graduate trainee to GM and area VP. Adams has experience in spearheading global innovation initiatives and in managing some of the largest, most complex properties and renovations in the Hyatt portfolio. Adams holds a bachelor of political science and economics from California State University, and studied at the Hasso Platner School of Design Thinking.

Rubinacci joins Omni Hotels & Resorts from the InterContinental Hotels Group, where he served as SVP of distribution and revenue management strategy. Rubinacci is a hospitality veteran with more than 25 years of experience and is considered a revenue management and global distribution expert in the industry. Rubinacci holds two bachelor degrees in marketing and hospitality administration from Florida State University, and currently serves on the advisory board of the Dedman School of Hospitality.
