Radisson Hotel Group names new CFO for EMEA growth

Radisson Hotel Group has appointed Sergio Amodeo as the new chief financial officer of Radisson Hospitality AB, and a member of the company's global steering committee, effective June 1.

Amodeo joins Radisson Hotel Group from TeamSystem Group, an Italian management software company, where he had been CFO since 2015. During his time there, he supervised the sale of the software group from one private equity fund to another (Hellman & Friedman).

Prior to that, Amodeo spent two years serving as CFO of Bolton Group, a privately owned consumer-goods group, following 16 years at food company Danone. In his last role there, he was responsible for the global corporate development of the company's leading division after holding several country and regional CFO roles.

Federico J. González-Tejera, president/CEO of Radisson Hospitality AB, said Amodeo is joining the team at a "key stage" in its growth trajectory. "His experience and expertise will be critical in delivering on our commitments of [our] five-year operating plan," said González-Tejera .

Amodeo will take on the duties of Knut Kleiven, currently the deputy president/CFO of Radisson Hospitality AB, who is retiring after a 30-year career.

Amodeo will be based at Radisson AB’s headquarters in Brussels, reporting directly to González-Tejera. Within EMEA, Sergio will have responsibility for the finance, accounting, group tax, internal audit, and group controlling central teams.
