NAI Hallmark Partners has reportedly acquired land in a Jacksonville, Fla., neighborhood known as Brooklyn that could be slated for the development of IHG's wellness-focused Even brand.
As the Jax Daily Record reports, Hallmark purchased a warehouse parcel at 803 Price St. from Parkview Plaza Partners for $645,000.
“We’ve had that property under contract for quite some time,” said Alex Coley, a Hallmark principal, told the Daily Record. “This acquisition puts us in a position to build that hotel.”
Hallmark has reportedly been in talks with IHG since last year on the project.
InterContinental already has Even hotels opened in Norwalk, Conn., and Rockville, Md., with three more slated for New York City.
