Manchester to get new Travelodge hotels

Two new Travelodge hotels are set to open in Greater Manchester following a £9 million investment.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the hotels will be in Sale and Stockport and form part of a major planned expansion throughout the region by the independent hotel chain.

Planning applications have been submitted, with both hotels expected to open towards the end of 2016.

Travelodge is reportedly looking to open seven more hotels in Greater Manchester, representing an investment of £35 million.
