Accor Hotels launched a new Pullman Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The new property is in the building that houses the Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Bintang district. It has 445 rooms and 157 serviced apartments.
The new hotel is the fourth Pullman in Malaysia. It will be fully refurbished through the next two years but will stay open throughout the process.
“We are very excited to add this much-loved hotel to the fast-growing Pullman network,” said Michael Issenberg, Chairman and CEO AccorHotels Asia Pacific. “Since launching in 2008, the Pullman brand has really struck a chord with owners as a hotel that appeals to today’s connected and sophisticated traveller.”
The new property marks the continuation of an expansionary trend at Accor, with a number of high-profile hotels across the region rebranded to Pullman in recent months. Among them are the well-known Park Lane Hong Kong, the former Hilton on the Park in Melbourne and the Prince in Kuala Lumpur.
This “is testament to the brand’s ability to meet the needs of today’s ‘global nomads’,” said Issenberg.
